January 14th
My husband signed re-enlistment papers today! He is now "owned" by the Military for 5 more years. They gave him a goodie bag and in it was a nice pocket knife but the real kicker was what the box said...

Dessert was new tonight! I tried my hand at homemade funnel cakes and they were easy and delicious!!

Today was a snow day!! I would have loved it more if it meant I could stay in bed and stay warm for a few hours....but I had plenty of things to do today! Morgan decided to eat one of the Kinder-eggs a friend of mine sent us. She loves them so much! And of course the toy inside was her favorite part....a plane!

The forecast is calling for snow tonight! The radar has a huge blue blob coming in our direction. I really hope we get a good amount of snow. So far this year it has only been flurries, we need snow!! I want to sled!
So in the spirit of wishing for snow, I donned my new PJ pants from my Mamaw hoping the swirls of "Let It Snow" will bring the white stuff!

I am enjoying the slow paced atmosphere of my house now. The Holidays wore me out! I have been super lazy the last 2 days, I shouldn't be but it sure feels nice. While taking care of some phone calls today, Morgan occupied[ied herself with one of her favorite things. Play-doh! She really enjoys making different things with the cutters and extracters. She brought me this tree earlier and insisted I take a picture of it.

Today has sucked. :( While loading the pictures from our trip, they stopped about 1/4 of the way through. Turns out, part of my SD card was corrupted and the rest of the pictures won't come off. So tomorrow I get to call around and hopefully find someone who can get the rest of them off. And for a decent price!
Since I was in sour mood most of the day I didn't take too many pictures. I really wanted to just throw my camera at the wall. But I know the problems weren't it's fault. Plus, I just got it less than 2 months ago!!
So for today here is a picture of the family dog, Belle. She is a 4 year old American Bulldog. We have had her since she was 6 weeks old. Wonderful dog, even if she begs for my breakfast every day. She much prefers human food to dog food. Spoiled!

Today we went to the Newport Aquarium in Northern Kentucky. This is actually my first time visiting there even though I have lived 2 hours away from it my entire life (or their entire existence). It was a neat place! The kids loved it and I took about 300 pictures that I can't wait to go through and post.
This picture is of the girls with the Penguin mascot in the lobby of the aquarium. He came out ahead of the Penguin Parade that they have every morning. The girls were excited to see some real penguins!

Happy New Year!
Happy 2010!! May this year bring you lots of happiness! Today starts Project 365 for alot of people. Project365 is a fun adventure to take a picture everyday for a whole year. That may sound simple to some but it is quite the challenge. Each day I will post a picture from our day here or out and about. I am excited to look back on the year and see how things went. :) Today we are headed out of town to visit some family and go to the Newport Aquarium. Tomorrow I will post my picture for today and tomorrow. Right now my camera is all packed up and the battery is charging!! Come back tomorrow so see which pictures are posted!
